Description
HOLDWIN PA-68 Pneumatic Auto Drain Valve for Air Compressor Tank – 8mm Connector
Product Overview
The HOLDWIN PA-68 Pneumatic Automatic Drain Valve is designed to automatically remove accumulated condensate from compressed air systems, helping keep compressed air equipment and pipelines cleaner and drier.
During compressed air operation, moisture can condense inside air compressor tanks, dryers, filters, separators, and pipelines. If condensate is not removed regularly, it can contribute to corrosion, contamination, and reduced system performance.
The PA-68 automatic drain valve provides a convenient solution by automatically discharging accumulated condensate without requiring frequent manual draining.
With an adjustable drainage frequency, 8mm drain connection, all-metal housing, and double filtration, it is suitable for a variety of compressed air applications.
Product Highlights
1. Automatic Condensate Drainage
The PA-68 automatically discharges accumulated water and condensate from compressed air equipment, helping reduce moisture buildup inside the system.
Suitable installation points include:
-
Air compressor tanks
-
Air dryers
-
Storage tanks
-
Filters
-
Cyclone separators
-
Rear condensers
-
Compressed air pipelines
2. Adjustable Drainage Frequency
The built-in brass adjustment knob allows you to control the drainage frequency according to the amount of accumulated condensate.
-
Turn counterclockwise (+): Increase drainage speed
-
Turn clockwise (-): Reduce drainage speed
This adjustable design provides more convenient control for different working conditions.
3. Large Drainage Passage
The large-diameter valve passage helps facilitate the discharge of condensate, oil mist, rust particles, and pipe scale, reducing the risk of drainage blockage.
4. Self-Cleaning Design
The automatic cleaning function helps flush accumulated dirt through the valve opening, reducing the chance of the drain port becoming clogged during operation.
5. Double Filtration
The PA-68 features filtration at the air inlet and internal filtration to help reduce contamination and improve resistance to clogging.
6. Durable All-Metal Construction
The drain valve features an all-metal housing with a durable painted exterior. The metal construction is designed for pressure resistance and long-term use in compressed air systems.
7. 8mm Drain Connection
The drainage outlet can be connected to an 8mm PU air hose to direct discharged condensate to a suitable drain location.

Installation & Use
Installation Notes
-
Confirm the inlet and outlet direction before installation.
-
Install the drain valve in the correct vertical orientation.
-
The drain valve should be installed at a suitable low point and below the air tank outlet where applicable.
-
If the amount of accumulated water is particularly high, turn the adjustment valve counterclockwise to increase the drainage rate.
-
After adjustment, tighten the locking nut if applicable.
-
The drain outlet can be connected to an 8mm air hose and routed to a suitable drainage location.
Important: Always depressurize the system before installation, cleaning, or maintenance.
How to Clear a Clogged Drain
If water is not draining properly:
-
Turn the adjustment valve counterclockwise to increase the drainage flow.
-
Allow compressed air pressure to flush out accumulated dirt.
-
Adjust the valve back to the desired drainage setting.
If the drain remains blocked, inspect and clean the internal filter screens.
Filter Cleaning Instructions
Step 1
Close the inlet valve and make sure the system is fully depressurized.
Step 2
Unscrew the upper cover and remove the filter screen. Clean the screen thoroughly and reinstall the upper cover securely.
Step 3
Unscrew the lower cover and remove the lower filter screen. Clean the screen and reinstall the components in the correct order.
Safety Note: Never disassemble the drain valve while the compressed air system is pressurized.

FAQ
These are the most frequently asked questions from our customers regarding our sandblasting accessories. Have any other questions? Please contact our customer support.
Our customer support hours are Monday to Saturday.
Average response time: 24 hours.
Does this helmet provide comprehensive protection and maintain visibility under prolonged abrasive operations?
Yes. The helmet is engineered to shield the entire head, face, and eyes from abrasive rebound and dust. It includes a replaceable visor to ensure sustained clear visibility during extended blasting sessions.
How is nozzle wear assessed, and what materials ensure optimal durability?
Nozzle wear is indicated by decreased blasting efficiency or visible erosion. Our nozzles are manufactured from high-durability ceramic or tungsten carbide to maximize lifespan under continuous abrasive conditions.
Are these gloves engineered for abrasion resistance and long-term operational safety?
Yes. Constructed from heavy-duty rubber with extended cuffs, the gloves protect hands and forearms from mechanical wear, abrasive media, and dust ingress, ensuring safe and reliable operation.
What are the operational specifications for pressure and compatible abrasive media?
The pneumatic sandblasting gun is compatible with standard compressors (typically 60–120 PSI) and supports a wide range of abrasive media including aluminum oxide, glass beads, silicon carbide, and steel grit, suitable for professional surface preparation.
